How Pregnancy Happens

A woman can get pregnant if ejaculate (cum) gets in her vagina or on her vulva. The most common way this happens is by having unprotected vaginal intercourse. Pregnancy doesn’t start the same day you have intercourse. It can take up to six days for sperm to fertilize an egg, and then up to 10 days for the fertilized egg to fully implant itself in the lining of the uterus. That’s when pregnancy begins.
